Rekoff / Raptors Damage Type

Is it slashing or piercing?
The damage is so wild when getting hit by assassins, and it seemed I took less damage versus a piercing shield, but the Claws of the Broodmother are slashing daggers.

Try it, use diffrent shield mods, and see

some daggers are piercing some are slashing, so i assume the same follows for assassin monsters

They do piercing damage. I used a +10 v piercing damage shield (Kunan's Bastion) on my ele when I farmed them.
