Weekend event....

it cant be the luck weekend. i got the update just now and the sign in screen still doesnt have anything listed as the weekend event!

Hrm, I myself am noticing what you guys are noticing. It's very noticeable. I wonder if aNet have noticed that we've noticed, or whether they are hoping that no-one else will notice that which it is that we've noticed.

We should get together and give them notice. Where's our green schtoof goys!! I was even gonna dye my armors green for this one!! :P

*Edit: Just checked the official GW Events page. Canthan New Year was announced 8 days prior (4 feb) to the event start announcement (12 Feb) which coincidentally was the last event update made. That was exactly a month ago.

Interesting indeed. No doubt they'll surprise us, I have no doubt it'll run.

Maybe they will, since so many of us would like a Double Lucky Redux to make up for losing that weekend. A double extra lucky weekend! Huzzah! Then we can agonize over whether to run chests or farm clovers.

Would anyone be surprised if there will be a event and they didn't inform us. It's not the first time it would happen. But we will find out tomorrow. So we'll see.

really? hmms must be before my time i dont remember them doing that. i remember times its been mixed replaced,extended extra but not this.

yes its the 'we didnt announce it, you have to figured out what it is' weekend---kind of like the unannounced one during the redux .....

stuff usually starts at noon anet time on friday, though why they didnt continue this thru the actually holiday (st patricks day) .....?????

I expected this to start on the actual st pattys day and continue on the next weekend, instead of starting this weekend.

i run a search for mesconn and got nothing, run a search for st patricks and didn't get anything mentioning it either, gonna be disappointed if there isn't. Got me armour dyed, HoD texmodded and fraps at the ready :P

That's pretty silly considering St. Pat's day is the 17th. They have always run it through (and including the 17th). Maybe they thought it would have been too long this year since the 17th falls on a Wednesday?
