Hello guys,
I recently tried to login to my GW account but i received an error message claiming that my account had been permanently banned for payment fraud. I really don't know why i have been banned, could it have been possible that someone hacked my account and used it for fraud? Has this happened to anyone before?
I am concerned about this as i have played the game for almost 5 years now and i suddenly lose my account. If anyone can provide me with any information that could help me get my account back i would really appreciate it.

well the first question is did you try to buy anything recently for that account?
If yes (or no) you will need to contact support to get what is going on with your account.
In the past there has been a few times that they have erroneously banned people for the same problem (over a bank holiday weekend in Europe if I remember right).

Not recently, I did just before xmas, i bought the new costumes. There was no problem however, the money was taken from my account.
I forgot to mention to the first person who replied, i have contacted the support team, i appreciate the fast responses guys. is there a chance my account can be restored? Or is that out of the question?

Well, really it depends on why you were flagged as fraud.
The chances depend on what has occurred.

I have just copped "Account Terminated for payment fraud, this action is permanent. Code=045" when logging in today... last logged on last night no issues. I haven't bought from the online store since GW:EN was released...
anyone had similar ?

There's no advice to be given other than 'wait and see what support says'.
