Problems with my Connection...

First off, this is mostly unrelated to Guild Wars. I just posted this here because I know many of you are actually smart and could be able to help me here.


Alright I'll put some of the basic info up
Country: New Zealand
ISP: Xtra
Plan: Buisness Advanced

My problem is I'm having terrible lag connecting to Australian Servers in games. I've only checked Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, and Team Fortress 2 but all 3 are having terrible pings to Australian Servers. Normally I'd get about 140, but at the moment I'm getting about 300-400 ping. My friend who also plays has no problems, his connection is fine, but he has a different ISP.

I have contacted my ISP and they say there is no problems on their end, so I have no idea where to turn next. Pings to New Zealand games are fine, its just Australia. And since New Zealand is too crappy to have enough servers, in every game I need to be able to connect to Australia servers. Without them I might as well just uninstall. Anyone got some idea I can try?
