can't login error 227

Hi,

i ve relanch GW this morning, but can't login
i am sure of my password, no caps lock etc.

no "DNSnetwordk trouble", i can access guildwar.com
no firewalls or stuff, i didnt change anything

i didnt connect since maybe 1 year....easily

i have reset my password, get a new mail with a new password, try login, but same error.


PS : I have 2 accounts, i can loggin with none of them.



They have deleted my accounts for inactivity ??

if you are sure of you login info (account name, password and character name)... you will need to send a support ticket. Make sure you have typed in your character name correctly, I know that my account for some reason does not like one of my characters so I would try with another one or two before sending in that ticket.

and no they dont close accounts for inactivity.

did you enter the name of one of the characters on your account correctly? That's a new feature that wasn't there a year ago...

I too had the same error. I logged out of one account to log onto another that did not work , nor did the account I just logged out of.
Checked the usual. I assume the authentication server was offline - I can access both accounts now

no, for me it was just that I never put a character name. I didnt pay enough attention..


just mail + pass, as I always did - fail fail fail

they could have improve the error message, like "put a character name, morron !"
