Ok so I have been wondering.... In the 09 Halloween event the Skull Face Paint (mask) was handed out. I was wondering; since I missed the event but a friend of mine has the mask, can I take his mask and use it at the Hat maker to get the mask for my character?

nope you cant get the hat..( and dont let anyone tell you otherwise). I think i remeber about a year ago some scammers tried to get alot of money off the idea that people could buy the hats and turn them in. You couldnt back then, and you still cant.
Personally,and this i jsut peronal opinion, that i wish i could've gotten the amazing hats from halloween in like '06( the pumpkin hat). Those hats were back in the good day when u were jsut wondering if teh hats werent gonna jsut totally suck(the reindeer christmsa hat anyone?).

I'm proud of my 2005 halloween hat. But i'm also p*ssed that I missed alot of cool ones.

Imo.... aNet could make a lot of money to fuel GW 2 if they sold permanant festivel hat unlocks at 5-10 dollars each. Hell... I know I'd pay $10 a pop to get back all the hats that I lost when I was perma'd. Yes... I understand that they don't do this to keep the hats exclusive but at the stage GW is currently in they could use all the money they can muster together for GW2.

I didn't know there was going to be 2 hats. 1 hat for LA and 1 hat for Kamadan. I ended up not playing GW for the rest of that day after I got my first hat because I didn't know and I ended up regretting it (Witch's Hat.... SO freaking secksy on so many female professions). >_>

I'd buy the hats from 2006, as I lost mine somehow (before there was a Festival Hat NPC).

I didn't start playing until about 2 years ago, so I missed out on all of the good ones. My necro girl wants a witch hat so bad!
