Why all the hostility? Because being anonymous brings out the worst in people. For them, being an asshole is FTW because they can get away with it. Their mommy probably slaps them around IRL.
As for the complainers (this is going to piss some people off) but I truly believe that for them this game is so important to their daily lives that not nerfing a particular skill, or nerfing a particular skill, or not providing content *they* believe should be provided negatively impacts their quality of life. The games wasn't all that expensive, I got my money's worth. But then again for probably the large large majority of players, this game is a distraction not a way of life.
Why all the hostility?

GWGURU Is suposed to be a fan site, However people come here just to bitch and moan about how bad the game is and "QQ" about builds.
It should be Guild Wars No#1 HATE site not FAN site. |
FFS, they deleted two arenas because they got tired of dealing with the playerbase's feedback concerning balance.
So, we have a reason for all the ongoing hostility, and the cause can be quantified as insufficient funding. No, costumes aren't a good source of income despite the retards that bought them [lol... myself included ._. ... I'm not gonna lie...]. The only way to better things is to give the skills roster a legitimate face-lift and actually "balance" things out. In order for that to happen, the Live Team would have to actually take the time to map out exactly what the maximum damage outputs for all the different classes need to be and analyze exactly how it'll adversely effect every single arena (PvP) as well as area (PvE) in the game. It'd take alot of time, thought, and effort... which unfortunately takes up too much of their "resources".
