Alright so I figured this weekend's double LB rewards made it a good time to finish the last region I've got left to vanquish in Elona, Joko's Domain. Now, I've been away from GW for years, so my friend list is kinda slim, but I figured since I had H/Hed every other region of Elona, this shouldn't prove too big of a problem.
My char is a warrior, and I use a discordway team w/ henchies. My problem is that I can't out rez or out damage certain awakened groups. The paragon and ele boss groups have been a huge pain in later attempts, but on my first try i killed them both only to be undone by a random group of awakened w/ 2 cavs. Re-attempts w/ me carrying frozen soil have also been failures, and it seems that FS actually hurts my group more than it does the enemy. I've tried rushing the rezzers and tanking the dervs and wars, but have had only mediocre success. Even using powerstones to rid myself of the DP from the wurms isn't helping much.
This being my LAST region, I'm kinda UPSET (to put it mildly) that i can't vq. it. Does anyone have any H/H builds besides discordway that work here? It really needs to be pure H/H as I neither have a whole lot of player friends left nor play in a way conducive to having others join me (I'm afk a lot). Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm getting sick of wasting powerstones and time doing this thing.

From my experience, FS in desolation really hurts your team more than them. I used discord caller build and paired with discord heroes it was enough to kill cavaliers before they resurrect.
Instead you should pack a lot of holy damage. It really destroys undeads - smite hex, smite condition, RoJ, aura of holy might wipes undeads.

Here's some builds i just tested..pretty random but seems to work ok.As a warrior..easiest way is just to go with defensive build..take aggro tank the mobs..try to body block them if possible..heros do the rest..splinter weapon adds some dmg when the enemies are nicely packed..btw..dont bring any hexes or atleast use them when fighting vs lot undead mesmers.

For me some areas of the desolation were a real bitch to VQ. I found FS to help me out in just the speed of it because it eliminated the anoying rezzing by the cavaliers. The main problem I had in some zones were the dune carvers getting to my back line and destroying them. That is why I found that either be able to take minions or using some spirits to keep them off my back line helped the most. Also, like was stated earlier taking some kind of holy damage in my opinion is a must. If you can figure that out it shouldn't be too bad besides just the time it takes to do some of the zones. Also, with all VQ areas being able to pull helps a lot. Some parts of the desolation have some big groups and the patrols overlap. Over-agro can be a big problem.

Done!!!! Took 2 hours, but done!!!! TY all, and especially Doc Zenith, whose builds I used. It gotta little dicey with the ele boss, and I opted to pull the para boss, but other than that, I had no real problems!!!
