Hey guys,

Today I (finally) downloaded TexMod.
After the download I scanned my pc with Malwarebvytes and Superantispyware.
They both found nothing.
After that I ran Guild Wars and used a McAfee scan.
When i was playing i watched it and it found 7 viruses (Trojans)
I'm 99% Malwarebytes is right and nothing is infected.
Today i also downloaded a Youtube downloader wich was safe aswell but McAfee said it was a virus aswell.
Do i have to do something or just leave it?
P.S. it didn't see TexMod as a Trojan so far... Is this because I didn't run it?

Malwarebytes (if updated) is pretty good at catching spyware/malware etc... do remember though that the free download of that is not "Active" or "Real time" anti-virus protection. It will only detect things after you have them, I'd run it again and see if it picks up the same things that McAfee did.

You're comparing apples to oranges.

McAfee is a virus scanner (and a very poor one, switch to avast)
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is a malware scannre, it scans for adware, spyware, and things of that nature.

McAfee would have picked up things as false positives. Malwarebytes will keep your computer safer than McAfee would anyway....terrible antivirus.
