Might it be possible to add in a Profession Changer who works on the basis of whatever campaign one has (Need Command Post in Elona, Ascension in Prophecies, We No Su in Factions)? It's very inconvenient to move around like that, and profession changing IS a service to be rendered.

So, any thoughts?

you do relies there's a drop down menu after you change the first time...and that there's a profession changer in GTOB right?

Other then that....I don't see it as needed....but...seeing as though he already exists copy pasting should only take a tiny bit o time :P

/meh if they happen to be playing with the guild halls anyway might as well throw it in..

I'm thinking you don't realize that there's a drop down menu? You really only need one trip to the profession changer per character: buy all the professions then use then menu after that.

It'd just be an extra convenience. I was rather thinking for PvE characters engaging in PvP who need a skill or two from another profession they haven't unlocked previously. Rather annoying to have to travel to Senji's corner or do a quest in the Crystal Desert when you think of a new build. I wouldn't think it that hard to implement, either.

And of course I realize there is a dropdown menu. Dropdown menu doesn't charge 500g for a change and doesn't unlock new professions. That's what this'd be for, as an added convenience.

Also, you'd think that with all the amenities of a Guild Hall, they'd have that kind of an expert on hand.

Alright, I just have never noticed any annoyance or inconvenience caused by the infrequent trips to profession changers. I guess if this would actually affect people positively, I cannot make a reasonable argument against it.

why would this be an added convenience? once you make the trip to the profession changer the first time and unlock all of them, you'll never talk to him again . ..

/not signed. Being able to change secondary professions is, and always has been, a reward for progressing through the story-lines. Having a profession changer in the GH would circumvent that, making it possible for low level characters to change professions without doing the work.

Besides, part of the beauty of the way they designed the profession changers/quests is that A-Net placed them at points where players don't need "pro" builds to get through the story to reach those points.

Do people not realize theres one in GTOB?... I worked hard to map travel to GTOB...It still requires you ascend or what not...so...why not? still don't think its worth putting in but I see no real downside besides work for anet...

Some of us only visit the GTOB for the Z-Missions/Bounties. hehe! Even more reason not to implement this suggestion. It takes the same number of map travels (1) to get to the GTOB as it does to map to the GH (unless you're in the realm of torment, then there's 1 more step added to get to GTOB - *pfft*)
