expansions issue
choppah
Hi there!
New user here but oldskool GW player, I bought the first GW as soon as it came out.
So now I have prophecies, factions and eye of the north in my possesion.
I installed all 3 of them and logged on, but now I see I can only play the factions campaign, and I'd rather play the prophecy campaign again cause it was really, really nice.
When I edit my account I see that only factions and eye of the north are installed on my PC.
Any ideas on what I should do? like uninstall factions etc.
Thanks in advance!

But i recently added the PvP access kit and i had to goto my Ncsoft account and add the serial code to my existing account.
I guess that you have already done this due to Factions being available. But im sure that you have to visit the account to bind them together.
Hope that helps

have you added the access keys to your existing account? 'loading' all the cd's does very little to create/access the account. If you have added the keys, did you make new accounts for each?? (happens a lot). You can check to see what keys you have on your account buy logging in and when on the character screen click the 'edit account button' at which time you can see which keys are on that account.

hmm, I'm not really clear on what to do.
I've tried adding my prophecies key again to my account but they say it's allready in use. Any ideas on how to solve this?
Guess I could contact support again!
thx for the answer anyway m8!

Did you bind the two serials together in your Ncsoft account?

which keys are already on your account when you log in?
you wont need to put in the key again (it wont work anyways)...since you said you started with prophecies ....
log into your account and go to the edit----see which keys are already on the account.
if its just prophecies and you KNOW that you put the factions or eye key in then you MAY have created a NEW account instead of adding them to the existing one.
eye must be added to an existing account so you had to have added it to something you already had. Factions is a stand alone campaign so you could have made a whole new account for it without even knowing it.

It's possible, but unfortunately we can't really say for sure (This is a fansite, not Anet.. so can't really give any guarantees or such)
I suggest you contact GW Support regarding this matter, explain the situation and provide all the information you can to them (your name, e-mail addresses used for both accounts, cd-key's for all campaigns and the expansion, etc) first up, and then any other information they request.

Btw, don't know if this is true or not (only heard it from a few people a long while back), but Anet can't/don't actually merge accounts. They just permanently ban one, and add a key of that campaign to the main account. The significance of this is that you'll lose everything you have on the non-main accounts. You'd be able to trade all the money and items, but characters and account-wide achievements would be lost.
Again, don't know if this is true, just letting you know.

Okay I'll try all of the above today
thanks alot you guys, you were very helpful.
Aah, well that's not an issue really. Don't think I have anything worth on the old account. And I was gonna start over again anyway

Same thing happened to me at factions release due i was on my minds, i contacted support, they deleted my other account (i was able choose which) and they gave me new code, ofc had to give some info, pictures etc for it
caballo_oscuro
Anet probably won't let you merge your two accoounts, on the supposition that you could be a spammer stealing someone else's
I'd advise you to take photos of the access key cards that you have and include those in an email to ncsoft
