Downtime Notification

We're doing some maintenance and significant upgrades on the website later this evening, so the website will be down for 45 minutes to an hour. This outage effects both GWG and GW2G.

any clue when abouts? ehh guess it doesn't really matter...I'll know when the page doesn't load...granted it tends not to load anyway :\

Just a tip on notifications: You might want to give an indication of how many hours after your post it will be before the downtime. Your message is completely meaningless for me since I don't know which timezone you're in or how that relates to me. 'Later that evening' could be midday for all I know.

EDIT: I don't have any idea whether this update has actually happened or not either.

EDIT 2: I didn't mean to sound angry, just saying that as it is, the message isn't as useful as intended.

He could've said he's unsure about the exact time I have no issue with that...just with me occasionally have to refresh multiple times because it keeps coming up with connection timed out...it can be hard to tell if its just guru being guru or if its down...

We were unsure if there would actually be any downtime at all. There was a large maintenance window covering most of the evening, with possible downtime at any point within that.

If I have specifics at the time of posting, I will give them.
