Hey...With, the new scavenger hunt active I was wondering where have ya'll found to be an optimal place to farm drakes (steelfang or irontooth)? I tried the beginning of Riholn but, trying to keep the npc alive is rather irritating. If going with full group this would not be an issue. There are a couple right outside Moddok as well, but they r mixed with Kournans.

Drakes on a plain quest from Refuge. Take spirit spam, flag Koss away, kill the first two groups of drakes, rinse and repeat.

Go outside to Plains of Jarin and go east - you'll see 2 drakes mixed in with some termites.
Rush in and kill the drakes, and the termites if you want.

You don't even need to pull them, I used a Warrior / Assassin, Shadow Step, Sever --> Gash and then one is dead, kill both zoning in and out after you have killed both through map travel.
Found roughly 65 Chunks of Drake Flesh in 90 ~ 110 runs and then sold them for 2k Each :-)

like i said in the other post leave moddock crevice mission and in the pool outside it is a few drakes along with kourans. kill them rinse repeat so not only you get drake flesh but sources of iron too.
