Anyone remember this?
Fear The Apocalypse
Remember back in the beginning of Factions when it was still the pre-order and assassins could roll when they used a speed boost while running.
Why did they get rid of that?
I think they should bring it back.
What do you think?
I always thought that was fun.

Rolling? Like rolling on the ground? I would like a screenshots of that or a link for video plox.
Fear The Apocalypse
Yes like rolling on the ground. I will search my computer for screens. It used to activate when you used a running skill, your sin would do a somersault.

Not a great video but at 2:41 you can see the sin do a roll kinda. I'll continue my efforts in finding a better video.

Wow, never knew that existed. That's pretty cool. /sign to bring it back, unless there was some important reason it was removed.
Magic Wut Huh Asdf
Hate to break it to you but I think that's the attack animation for Jungle Strike. Watch his activation bar as he 'rolls'.

Rolling? Actually rolling?
Yeah, in Tae Kwon Do we learn how to sprint to full speed by not going from running to sprint but by going from rolling to sprint because that's Ninja.
I can see why it was removed, it made little sense, and that's saying a lot because Ritualists throw spears underhanded and facing backwards. At least they use the vision of Grenth to see as their excuse.

I remember this, but I would not have done so had you not told me.
It would be cool to have this return, but since a rolling character is a much smaller target than a standing character, and ANet has voiced concerns on characters being of larger size than normal, I can see them having a problem with characters being able to be smaller than normal, for PvP's sake. Maybe that's going a little overboard though.

I remember this also. I thought it only happened when you used an IMS though. It was cool. /sign

Hmm you may be correct on the video. It's tough to find a video of this cause it was all the way back in 2006 haha.

Are they oblivious to their own game? Using a paragon shout, /rank, or /zrank emotes greatly increases the selectable area of a player (sic size), all of which are perfectly usable during pvp.

If nothing else, it would be awesome if the rolling animation were used as a custom spell animation for shadow stepping.
So instead of doing their normal cast thing, sins would literally throw themselves into darkness and roll out of it elsewhere.
