If farming for rep I would suggest other means as raptors are a slow method.

From my experience, with a W/N, the extra group isn't worth it. I can do 34 in 40-45 seconds on an average spawn, getting the extra 6 adds about 7-9 seconds, so you're gaining about 15% more kills but using 18% more time. When you're doing hundreds of runs per weekend (I think I did about 300 this weekend), that small difference will add up. On some runs, sure, it's worth it to go grab the extra group if you're already near the entrance again, but I certainly don't think it's worth it every run.

Also, even with picking up drops, even if it's 10+, I'm still under 1 min on most of my runs.

I never did have trouble with MoP running out, just cast it on a raptor in the boss group and there shouldn't really be any trouble.

So, consensus from the W/N's seems to be: it's hardly worth it.

But for E/Me I still think it's worth it if you get the opportunity ie. with a good cave spawn. Because it doesn't add extra time when you're aggroing, and unlike W/N you don't have to wait to begin your kill sequence if the patrol hasn't arrived yet. Run is over when our 2nd sliver runs out (same as usual). So it's a few extra kills for free, whenever the cave spawn is good.

Just keep an eye on your Mantra - it DOES get taken down occasionally, so be ready to recast it.
