Hey, I just posted last week that I was gonna buy this game when i get paid. I was wondering if when i get the game, there would be a guild that would be helpful in the line of PvP. I was very interested in PvP in WoW but never really played it. This game I want to tho (: So if there is a nice guild that would be great (:

Look through there.

PS: You won't be able to just buy the game and then be able to PvP. You'll get ripped apart each and every fight for a very long time. PvE until you know the skills, the mechanics, have a lot of things unlocked, the different professions and how they work, etc. Then try to get into PvP. People won't give you a chance if you try right away.

Pretty much do as Marty said.

It will be a good while before you are PvP ready but when you are I would recommend that you try Fort Aspenwood or Jade Quarry first. Mainly Fort Aspenwood.

I would look at a few popular builds and see how they are used. This will give you information about how Guild Wars PvP functions, the roles of each profession, and what is useful in PvP. I think you would be very lucky to find a PvP guild at your current familiarity with the game so learn about the game and PvP and then try to find a guild. A guild that is willing to teach normally expects competence.

Another good place to get familiar with PVP is to check out the Observer Mode in game. You can get a nice feel of what you'll be dealing with. You can also click on a character you want to watch and you can see the skills in action.
