All the other weapons are, as you have already guessed, 1-3k items. That non-inscribable SotW might fetch around 5k, but both mods are fairly off from being perfect, so you might as well merch it.
Regarding your note - if I were a moderator of sort of this particular corner of the forums, I would consider doing an in-depth guide regarding which skins are normally merch food and which are above 3-5k and so on. One has to keep in mind that the more expensive items' prices tend to fluctuate or simply go down in price over time (oldschool weapons aside), thus proving to be a problem for the one updating the guide. However, that's just a minor thing and wouldn't have to do with the idea above.
