What's the most damage a req. 8 scythe can do?

And is there some place that lists the max stats for other lower than req. 9 items?

It can do max damage. I have a friend that had a blue one q8 max scythe drop recently. They are veeery rare though

I hope your friend has a screenshot and still owns the scythe because if he doesn't he is full of crap. In all the years since nightfall there has never been a confirmed q8 max damage scythe or spear for that matter. I have a few req 7/8 spears and scythes that are 1 point from max damage but I have never been able to find one that is max. I would pay well over 500 ectos for one if they could exist, however they do not.

To bo honest, everything a r8 scythe can do, a r9 scythe can do equally good (especially a non-max version). If you have less than 9 weapon mastery your damage with a scythe will be mediocre at best anyway.

Best q8 scythe I've seen (even had 1 drop for me, should have screenshot somewhere) was 9-39. I can't deny the possibility of a 9-40 but if it exists it's of rarity higher than q8 15-22 sword.

Usability of such weapon is another thing, if a build has only 8 scythe mastery the dmg is so low because of the attribute itself that a difference between a 3-40 and quite common 3-38 will be almost unnoticable, so use whatever youcan find, just dont forget to customize.

edit.: I won't believe in q7 1-off max scythe or spear, thats as likely as max q8.
