Greetings,
I have a problem where my alt-tab will stick on top of my GW screen and won't go away unless I log out of my machine. It often happens when I am holding ctrl and/or alt to see critter and hit tab to select one. At this time, if I don't remember to let go of alt, it will try to kick out of GW, and often the select screen will stay there.
Has anyone else seen this? Is this a GW bug, or something unique to my setup?
I am using a Logitech G11 keyboard and G5 mouse. I have the left and right scroll keys set for tab and shift-tab for quick selection. Could it be the Mouse driver that is messing with it?
If it is my setup, nothing to be done but be careful. If it is a game bug, then maybe it should be looked at.
I have suggested before (and seen others suggest) that the alt and ctrl keys should have the option to be toggles. That would solve this problem I think (not to mention the ergonomic issues).
Thanks

I doubt that it's a problem with GW. It's more likely connected to the keyboard. Does this happen if you use the normal Alt and Tab keys instead of the G11 scroll keys?
Could the G11 scroll keys in fact, be toggles? (I don't have a G11, so maybe someone who does could answer.)
Another thought - Sticky Keys in Windows Accessability options? (Ease of Access in Vista)

I do find that I occasionally do alt + tab out of GW accidentally, but it never sticks on top, I would try re-installing the drivers for the G11 & G5.

I have reinstalled them three times (while reinstalling windows). It has happened every time.
As for the keys being toggles, I am not quite sure how they work. I assume when you map the key, it should act just like the actual key. Perhaps there is something lost in the translation. I will try googling it again and see if it comes up again (although this is probably not a common mapping).
Thanks

Have you tried removing your profile manager and gamepanel for the G11? I had a problem similar to this, and reinstall both alleviated it. Drivers are only a small piece of the pie with the G11/G15/G19
