There is a large section on this on the official wiki site
This guide is more on general maxing titles, but it has a table on which ones that takes less time to max and which ones require more time and money.

While you're working on Survivor, Max out the 3 protector titles first, IF you trust your skills and connection enough. If you don't, then get up to EotN and do the Kilroy thing to max out survivor first.

If you plan to do Survivor, you should definitely do it first, as it doesn't work after your first death and most (probably all?) characters will die now and then over the course of normal play-- so do Survivor first, and play carefully.
I also agree that LDoA should be last.
In the meantime, it's really not important to choose a specific order for things, and in fact, it's better to concentrate on multi-tasking when you can, and they'll all go faster. To be more specific:
Several titles can be attained through going little beyond normal play. As you go through the missions, try to do the bonus or Masters reward each time, and you'll finish the Protector title without special effort. Explore as fully as you can as you go along, including in missions, and you'll be well on your way to Cartographer, again without going much out of your way. You can also get a good jump on Skill Hunter if you keep an eye on whether there's something in the area you want to capture, though you will most likely need to go back after you can switch your secondary profession later in the game. All of these can be done at once, and you need not choose between them.
When you finish Nightfall, you should be a good way into Sunspear and Lightbringer. Make sure you take bounties whenever you can, and you shouldn't have much trouble getting at least Rank 8 in Sunspear and Rank 5 in Lightbringer just by completing the campaign. Sunspear is probably the easiest rank title in the game, and you can get it by vanquishing a few areas in hard mode after you finish the story.
By the time you finish EotN, you should be at least Rank 3-4 in all titles from that campaign and Rank 5 in at least one of those. So again, well on the way just from playing, no need to decide an order of doing things.
In all campaigns, be sure that whenever you can get a bounty, you use it, and whenever you can fill a storybook, you bring it along.
You'll have a lot less grinding if you work on as many PvE titles as you can as you go along, rather than going back and doing them after you finish-- and do them simultaneously instead of one at a time as much as possible. It doesn't take a lot of extra work, but it does take some planning ahead, so read up on the titles and think carefully about what you can do in each area as you go through to maximize your play.

Straight 'outta pre, yo!
OP doesn't even understand the concept of Greens and already asking about titles? Good luck.
Try getting some of the protector titles first. Ask again after.

I already maxed out 2 protector titles :P

Depends on what your goals are. Personally if I had to start all over again. I would probably do one or a few of the account wide titles. These take the longest but count give a title to all chars on your accnt. Also, if going for Gwamm u will need one if not some of these to reach 30.

it would depend on a few factors.....is this a new account or an existing account that you are just starting a new character on?
An older account would already have some of the account wide titles started (you would think)...though they do take a bit longer.
If its an older account you might also have many of the elites unlocked allowing a new character to obtain elite tomes to get that title quicker.
How much cash do you have and do you want to put it towards titles?
there are a few titles that are buy-able and then only require the mouse clicks to complete.
If you are starting a new character you have the option to try to get LS, many older characters never had that option (or its long since passed their first death).
so there are many things to take into consideration when thinking of which titles are easiest to do first and which to do last.
On average account wide titles take a bit longer to max, but you can have multiple characters doing them so it may not seem as bad (like getting all the luxon or kurzick skills with 5 characters instead of with just one).
so you have to answer the questions in order to get the perspectives on which titles to do in what order---though I would work on survivor first with a new character since if you die once, its over and you would need to start a new character to get it.
