What else do I run with Racway?

I've been messing around on my imbagon lately and decided that I want to try Racway. I also run with my ritualist friend. I'm not sure what hero's my friend should be using.

Also, I see that now pvxwiki suggests using an Ele Orders build instead of the old dervish one? Why is that? Is it better? My other question is, it seems like there is quite a few hexes in every area I go. Is it viable to just run the normal motigon build and a commandagon with Empathetic Removal?

I would really appreciate it if someone could answer these questions.
Thanks.

If you run with a rit friend and the ele orders hero, have him be SoS with resto skills for healing, have him bring a E/Mo ER protter, and two physical heroes. Personally I think barrager ranger and an urf shaker. You could also go with HB and urf shaker for AoE support in crowded areas. In more sparse areas you can go DS or QB warrior with a burning arrow ranger or DBS warrior.

If your rit friend isn't along, always go with 2 monks, and either 2 warriors in hex-lite areas and with a warrior/ranger henchie mix when more mez's are about.

Think of RacWay as the anti-discordway.

You can use hexbreaker aria to help with some of the hexes, or have your rit friend bring a N or Rt or Mo healer with condition/hex removal. If it was me, I'd have your friend bring a spirit spammer (unless he is one), MM, healer. But really, anything will work. It all depends on what you are doing.

Haven't played Racway in a while and I've never tried the ER orders but it looks ok from a quick glance. Personally though I preferred N/Mo as my orders hero. The build I used was: Order of Fury, Order of Pain, Empathic Removal, Smite Hex, Smite Condition, SoLS.
Smiting Prayers:10
Soul Reaping:8+1
Rest of the points in Blood Magic, with a +2 or +3 on the head.
The last two slots are free for whatever. I used a lot of physicals including some warrior henchmen, if you do that I'd take Strength of Honor somewhere in there as well. Blood Ritual is also very handy to have for your healers in long fights. I haven't used Racway with my paragon since the blood magic buff since I personally find Racway too slow with it lacking AoE. I'd recommend your friend go channeling Rt with SoS and splinter weapon. Heroes I recommend for them are some form of healing/ monking and, should you decide to not take another physical an MM with Animate Bone Fiend to make use of your ward. Again, I find N/Mo protter the most optimal in almost all areas, especially hex heavy areas. The build I have used for the last year is: Divert Hexes, Reverse Hex, Spirit Bond, Prot Spirit, Aegis, Shield of Absorption, SoLS and either Foul Feast or another prot/ heal depending on the situation.
Soul Reaping:12+1+1
Protection Prayers: 12

If you run the N/Mo Divert bar or even the N/Mo empathic orders you can keep the regular bars for your other paragon heroes.

Tbh, racway is pretty weak. It's mostly outdated and is fairly inferior to necro and ritualist setups. Just run a spiritway and faceroll your way through pve.

Eveyone knows the OP builds, sometimes its just fun doing something thats not OP. Pve is easy enough and there is not much fun in facerolling.

This is what I use for HM:

You can either bring a Command P/Rt or a Command Rt/P (with a spear).

Also for the last hero slot, you can bring an Emphatic MM which would be a safer choice for hex heavy areas, or an orders N/Mo for more damage. Minions also soak up damage and hexes.

The advantage of this build is that I can still make use of shouts from my Paragon heroes to synergize with my Imbagon while at the same time, having a stronger build with spirits and minions, splinter, and PS. You only need to bring 1 healer hench for red barring with this build and you can choose to micro PS when needed.

Don't run Racway, don't run Discord. Run Spiritway.

Daesuway actually looks pretty cool. Daesu, can you elaborate a bit more on it?

EDIT: I've been running Daesu way for the past 3-4 hours. It's miles ahead of Racway and seems on par with Sabway. Daesu, you should have it checked out on pvx or publicize it. It's pretty damn good.
