Hey, after receiving an email about the upcoming 5th birthday, I thought I'd install and play a little GW. Upon attempting to enter a town, I reach 100% on the loading screen and a minute or more later, I get an 07 error. A few times I make it in, but I have the worst lag possible with constant rubberbanding.
I've tried this on my wired and wireless internet.
I've also tried this on two machines:
Desktop:
C2Duo E8400 2.67GHz
4.0 GB RAM
Radeon 4850
Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
Laptop:
C2Duo P8600 2.40GHz
4.0 GB RAM
Nvidia NVS 160M
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

I don't believe my advice would help but I suggest you to load the maps before entering the game with adding -image to the direct link.

Yeah, I forget to mention that I tried that on my desktop with the same results, but I'm currently downloading files on my laptop. Well, this morning around 9am EST it didn't happen and I was able to get some play time in, but it happened again around 11:20am.
