Do victories in JQ/FA contribute to the war?

Just wondering, because Kommandant Durheim mentions:

"Such a beautiful war we wage! But our victory is dependent on our jade supply. If the Luxons circumvent our extraction efforts, it would seriously undermine our efforts."

It would make sense that having a strong economy plays a huge part in wars, but I am not sure if victories in JQ/FA contribute with anything other than faction to your guild/getting rewards.

If you're wondering whether it contributes to the Kurzick-Luxon border, then no, it does not.
