Entered wrong password repeatedly, now stuck on "connecting" forever

Now I can't log in with any of my accounts, they all get stuck on "connecting" in the login screen.

How comes? Did my accounts get blocked for a while due to me entering repeatedly a wrong password? What is going on, what shall I do?

I think it was mentioned that if you entered the wrong password a bunch of times it will take longer to get in...or some such thing....
I would back out completely, wait 30 minutes or so and try again--with the correct password. If that doesnt work, then you should contact support?

Yup, simply waiting ~30 mins helped.
