game crashes

Hi.

When I launch guild wars from the desktop or start menu, the laoding hourglass comes up, thinks for a few seconds, goes away, and then nothing happens. When I start it from the NCsoft launcher thing, it has the starting guild wars loading bar, then the same thing happens. I've tried reinstalling the game etc. any sugestions?

remove any firewalls your internet may have for it. that worked for me

Check that a firewall (Windows Firewall is built into Windows) and/or an Anti-virus or Anti-Malware program is not blocking it. You can turn off the firewall/AV/AM to see if that's the problem, and if it is, go back and find out how to let it through (if you want to keep using the firewall/AV/AM program).
