Guild Wars Complete Collection?

So, I just ordered the GW: Complete Collection. For those of you who do not know what that is, it is the Guild Wars Trilogy + EotN, available for purchase only in Europe. Now onto my question...

I live in Canada and ordered this from the UK Amazon store, I'm just curious if the account will be registered as European, or if it will be based on where I set my location initially. Doesn't really matter each way as it's a pretty great deal, but I'm curious because I have had accounts automatically register as European before when I have clearly set my Country to Canada. Any input?

Region is decided by the access key code that comes with your box. In this case it will surely be European.

What FoxBat said is true, but in Guild Wars you are free to go between whatever regions you deserve by simply switching servers. And you can play the same characters across all the servers (all you do if click on a pull-down box). So it doesn't matter at all what region you buy it from.

Where you buy the game has nothing to do with home server as far as I remember. When you register the account it asks for your location. You put in North America and that is your home server. Although it doesn't make much difference anymore as you can switch back and forth with no restrictions. Here is a link to the Support page about account creation.

Hm, which reminds me.. have to ask a Japanese friend to buy me the Japanese version of GW2 as soon as it's out :-)

why would japan get first rights? i'm pretty sure it was a global release
