GWGuru blocked by McAfee Smartfilter

As the title says, my work connection started blocking GWG maybe a month ago.

Mind you most other gaming sites will return a warning message but give me the option to override filtering. Guru on the other hand isn't blocked due to being a gaming site, it's blocked due to "malicious web reputation," no overriding that.

As I recall the blocking started around the time of the recent DDOS attack.

Curious as to whether the webmaster was aware of this.

That's interesting. Was not aware so thanks for the report Gennadios. I haven't seen any other reports of this but I will certainly investigate.

I can verify this too, just noticed siteadvisor has flagged this site red too.

McAfee is notorious for having false negatives. I'd say that would be the issue.

Once again, McAfee is being boneheaded. We are flagged for pop-ups from what McAfee is telling me. So we've been pushed into "red territory". There's no 'danger' on the site. There's no threat. There's no viruses. We've basically been flagged for ads. It's complete crap and based on user reviews. There's really nothing I can do about it. Other than to advise you to ignore (or better yet get rid of) McAfee.
