Does anyone know if it is worth it to start title hunting now?
If it is, any suggestions on which titles I should start with, or which ones might be cooler to have transferred over to GW2?
Thanks.

I just made a gwamm in five and a half month, i must admit that i've been playing for a while so know how to cut corners to speed things up.
But the important thing is do you like the title grind ? or maybe you like some other aspect of the game more ? like farming ? Just do what you like to do in game for your own satisfaction.

for a suggestion i would deffinatley start w/ the eotn reputation titles. Those are deffinatley the easiest thanks to leechiing raptors/vaettir and speedbooking. After that i would go VQing places w/ textmod on and bring lockpicks so you can hit 5 ttiles at once and reduce grinding on luck/unluck/treasure hunter later. Thats about where im @ right now so gl(also get booze/party title the booze only costs less than 100g a point and party is like 150g a point its really cheap atm so id get it now.)

Thanks for the suggestions. Can all of those titles be carried over to GW2 through the HoM though? Or only the account-wide ones?

Anything added to HoM will be carried through in some way, although specifically still unknown what will be rewarded. I would at least get 5 max, either survivor, the faction reps (asuran, norn, dwarven, vanguard, ss, lb), protector , and guardian, skill hunter. And also there are titles that add statues to HoM even though you dont max, such as Luxon and Kurz; very easy to get the statue with all the sc and vqff. Those are the cheapest, easiest, fastest to do. Others require more time or just money. Invest in profitable farms, ecto, if you plan on going much further.

No, the titles are not carried over to GW2, except that there would be a monument in your HoM, which will show what your ancestor did.
Which is to say that (afaik) you won't be able to "display" any of your GW1 titles in GW2. Which makes sense considering that your character in GW1 is a 250 year old ancestor of your GW2 character.
If you are interested in actually playing GW1 with more than one character, Legendary Skill Hunter is a good title to get. Then any (other) character can get any elite by just using a Tome.
