Best deal you have ever made
Riot Narita
I've never been one to scam or rip off new or ignorant players. So my achievements do not reach the lofty height described by others...
My best deals have been when I went to Spamadan and announced "WTS" stacks of sweets, alcohol, consumables, party points etc that I don't need. I ask the going rate or even slightly more. This keeps the vultures... woops, I mean "power traders" away.
When I get a buyer who's willing to pay the price... I give them the stuff for free. Giving people a nice surprise like that... it's a good feeling. Those are my "best" deals.
I don't need the items and I don't need the money - not because I am rich (I'm not), but because I've never wanted/needed/used expensive "prestige" weapons, armour, pets or whatever.

Oooh I have lots of stories to tell:
Best:
1) Bought a ded Grawl for 30k before I quit Guild Wars for about 6 months. When I came back they 30e! I sold mine for 35e ^^ (ectos were at 5k though).
2) Bought a q8 oni blade 15^50 for 55e and sold for 100e to 'Lithium' 10 minutes later during the "q8 boom".
3) This is perhaps my most shameful act on Guild Wars: someone wanted to sell a Q9 Green Blade of The Hierophant for 45k. I asked whether I could "test it out". After much deliberation he agreed and soon afterwards I had pressed the little "X" button at the top right of the screen. However, I am pleased to say that the next day I pmed him/her and apologized and offered him the item back or any of my other items. We met up and he/she said he would much prefer to have my "murukais reaver" and "deldrimor shield". I told him/her I didn't know if it was worth as much but they insisted on it. I still have the Blade of the Hierophant to this very day......
Worst Deal-
1) When I had got my first 100k, someone offered me a ded naga for 65k and my fellblade. After asking him what it did I concluded that I couldn't use it to hit things, so it must be worthless. I told him it was a worthless toy and he wouldn't get 1g for it. God damn it!
2) My first ever drop from Plains of Jarin was a black dye, however I had absoultely no grasp of the economy, so went to the dye merchant and found it was worth 7 platinum (wth was that?) and 300 gold. So I concluded I should try and sell it for 300 gold. How come so many people pmed me?
3) After getting to 210k I went to the Zaishen Chest because my friend complained Guild Wars was boring. 30 minutes later and all I had to show was a communing cele compass which I sold for 40k. It was not as fun as I had thought.
4) Spent my first 2k on a non-max q13 brute sword off some guy in Kamadan.
5) Turning down an emerald blade for 40k (I forget the requirement).

Had a level 15 in pre for a few months, and there was a guy looking for a gate monkey at around 3ish am, I wasn't doing much of anything so I opened it up for free for about a hour. I swap characters and he gives me a clean Destroyer Spear
The best trade in my favor was I saw a guy looking for Alem's Remedy's in Kamadan, I had 3 in storage I gave them to him and he traded me a green Wayward wand and a r11 death celestial compass.

When factions first came out I was in Xen of Onslaught Alliance and we briefly held HzH. We did some Urgoz runs and I got a q9 Zodiac Sword 15/-5 from a drop or chest (can't remember).
I put it up on Guru High End and sold it for 1.5 million gold.
Not sure what it's worth now but I can't imagine more than 100k if that?

Best trade I can remember is finding a person over wintersday willing to trade me all their sweets they farmed in exchange for all my party points I farmed, with respect to current market value. Managed to completely max out sweet tooth in less than 2 weeks with that persons help
reaper with no name
Some newbie moron in the alliance was borrowing money from a lot of people because he just had to have elite armor. He hadn't even finished his first campaign yet.
So, he finally gets his armor. Now, I'm sitting in my guild hall on my dervish, with my mixed and matched set of standard armor (first set I ever made, and I continue to use that same style to this day, because I think it looks great; simple yet cool and the pieces fit together seamlessly despite being from three different sets). Mr E Peen comes in and tells me his armor is better than mine. I laugh at him.
But then he realizes he needs a blue dye, and doesn't have one.
Guess who has a blue dye sitting in his xunlai chest that is absolutely worthless to him?
Mr E Peen gets his dye, but only after telling the entire alliance that my armor is cooler than his.

Some of those minipet trades are pretty crazy. ^_^.
Not having the hordes of ecto I had to make do selling common items in periods of high demand. Still pretty lucrative;
'nuff said. (Repeated that same trade twice more, too)
Collector item service back in the day was pretty good also;

I once spent 15 minutes in town spamming I would pay 3k for someone to take my stupid unded mini siege turtle off my hands. I FINALLY found a sucker and he made me join his party, go outside, and do a drop trade! I dropped 3k, I dropped the mini siege turtle, and quickly left the party. He did pm me a "TY!" but I think the joke was on him.

Back when the average price for a r9 Silverwing Recurve Bow was around 100e, I found someone spamming one for 95e. I asked if he was willing to go lower and ended up paying 85e. A month or so later they were selling for over 300e. I didn't resell it since I collect bows, but the timing on that purchase couldn't have been much better!
Then we have the MKG... all I have to say about that is: SCOOOOOOORRRRRRE!
KIDDING!! In eternal debt for that one. <3
