Spearment Candy Canes for Peppermint ones?

I think it would be nice if Anet made it where you could trade say 3 to 5 spearmint (green ones) candy canes in for 1 peppermint one (red one). Since a couple of christmas's ago they stopped handing out the peppermint ones as drops and changed to the green ones and I'd just like to see a trade over system that's all.

I have loads of peppermints and would glady trade with you at 4 to 1 rate No need for Anet to implement such a system when players can trade this way just aswell.

There's no such thing as a "Spearmint Candy Cane", but I think you mean the Wintergreen Candy Canes. I'm not supporting your idea, because it's an example of bad math. You're asking to trade items that have the equivalent of three to five sweet points and clear up to 15% DP each for a total of 45%-75% for something that would give only two sweet points and only have the chance to clear up to 60% DP.

You'll likely find more situations where it's just economically better to have Wintergreens for consumption, especially so if you'd like to trade away the CCs to clear some DP off of your teammates. In fact, the only case where you would eliminate more DP with the Peppermint CC is if you traded three Wintergreens for it and had only one player in your party with 46%-60% DP on them. The only benefit you might get out of this is shrinking three or five stackable items into a single stackable item, but I don't feel that is worth all of the other things you lose in the transaction.

Every Wintersday I get all three kinds.
Peppermint, Wintergreen and Rainbow.

If you are not getting one of them, you should stop doing the only thing you may be doing, and try other things you can do in Wintersday.
