Running through Factions

Hey, i was just wondering if it is possible to run through factions to get to the outpost 'Leviathan Pits' where i can get elite luxon armor for my assassin.

At the moment i am at 'Vizunah Sqaure' or 'Dragons Throat' depending on which is quicker to get to Leviathan Pits. If someone could tell me if it is possible to run to Leviathan Pits from any of these places and if it is worth it or if i should just play through the game to get there.

Nope, only way to access it is to complete Gyala Hatchery (Mission).

Running in Factions is not possible. Most locations are locked until you complete the prerequisite quest or mission. So, for example, you are at Vizunah or Dragon's Throat. The next quest you get will take you to Nahpui Quarter (mission). You can walk to the entrance of that mission now, but until you complete the quest taking you there, you can't get in. The entire map for Cantha is set up like that. A few places can be reached without a mission or quest done, but none of the places of importance.

ArenaNet noticed that players were skipping a large part of the storyline in Prophecies, so made sure that it wasn't possible in Factions and Nightfall.
