Remove invite limit
Cuilan
If an area has many people or groups forming for whatever reason, remove the invite limit so it's easier for unwanted professions to find groups. Of course making your own group is possible, but then people may not want to join you...

While I can see the point your making and in some way agree, the trouble with a system like this is that it would get majorly abused.
Del
if there was no cap to how many people could join, they'd get more of the classes that are wanted, making this whole idea moot.
Zahr Dalsk
This doesn't make sense. Group number is still capped at 8 (12 in Deep/Urgoz).
Cuilan
Invite limit, not party limit. In party search.

i don't understand how that would help unwanted professions get groups.
Zahr Dalsk
It wouldn't. No one wants useless classes like dervishes or mesmers in their group; even PUGs aren't as bad as every dervish player.
"Oh man, I'm so awesome with my black primeval armour and my hood and my Xx Doom Reaper Xx name, dervish kicks so much ass! Warriors and assassins are smalltime!"
>arrive at guru
"Anet please buff mysticism, dervishes are really weak and we need a class rework, warriors and assassins both use scythes better, it's not fair..."
- every dervish, ever

I don't see how this will fix any problems. /notsigned.

I think I lost the point where it helps unwanted professions.

1. When it comes to things like Z-Missions/Bounties, I have very little trouble getting into groups, even with my Mesmer.
2. "Cattle Call" party building is a terrible method. You usually end up with a mish-mash group with no synergy (2/3 Rits debating which one will be the SoS) and that's missing a required NPC and/or healers.

no problem, the limit is pretty good enough anyways, going over just seems pointless and most likely you just got rejected.

yeah i dont understand how this helps... if people dont want the profession someone is bringing inviting everyone in the district really isnt going to help anything... at least thats what i got from this thread. /notsigned

there is an invite limit? why would you want to spam so many invite that you would reach a limit anyways... i dont understand... how does this help? huh?
Prince Zorkian
I would not sign doing away with party limits, but I would LOVE to be able to VQ with 8 people in every area. We already have to click a button stating we're in HM, why can't that trigger automatic 8 person group.
Arduin
Because only having 4 people to vanquish with is a challenge in itself.
