Pretty amazing results for this bad boy of a GPU:

I thought some of you might like to see how the GTX 480 does on Liquid Cooling, esp. if you are like me and were scared off by the insane amount of heat coming out of the stock Fermi cards. Max of 59 Celsius after a nice 20% OC is just amazing - almost enough to make me want to consider a liquid cooling setup sometime down the road. XD

Do you need to buy the 480's with a cooling block pre-installed or can you manually install one? I remember seeing a 280 from BFG or something a while back that came pre-installed with a cooling block but the cost skyrocketed because of it. Forgive me of any stupidity if I'm wrong.

It may be possible to find one with a liquid cooler pre-installed, but I wouldn't count on it. Generally installing a liquid cooler is done by the end user. If you can install the rest of the gear need for a liquid cooling system in your computer, than it shouldn't be too hard to add this cooler as well. Adds allot of cost of course, but the end result is pretty nice. XD
