Personal Boss Aura

So, I saw this video in the QA section in this post: White Wing Aion Emote. At about 1:40 in the video, it shows the elementalist who is wearing obsidian armor cycle through a few of the boss auras on herself! I thought it looked pretty sweet ;-).



So, would you ever want to have your own personal boss aura?

• Why or why not?
• What achievement in the game would be good enough to qualify a person for geting their own boss aura?
• Should it be given to an existing title track?
• Should it require multiple title-track completion?
• Should a new achievement/title of uber difficulty be introduced to try and attain your own boss aura?
• What type of new achievement/title would be worthy of granting a person the ability to wear a boss aura?
• If you were ever able to have a boss aura, should you be able to pick the color or be limited to the color of your profession?

Personally, i'd have to go with you can only get it with max KoaBD, yes i know everyone and their dog has it now. Also it be pointless to give it to a a pvp event because i'm sure it be like tonics and costumes, can't be worn in pvp.

Why do you even want top discuss this? Its never gonna happend...

That looks pretty awesome. Not entirely sure what tittle should allow you to use these tho. Most tittle-worthy things already have a tittle attached to...

PS: Maybe you could get it for having all the skills for a specific profession? Iunno.

Well there's already the divine aura to honor your profession with its colors. Actually I don't have it, but it's still more related than an aura designed specifically for bosses.

I think having a boss aura emote for characters with GWAMM would be fine, maybe as a quest reward (but not as a purchase from the store), but then I'm one of the players that was hoping we would get a personalised/customised green or red weapon instead of 3rd, 4th, and now 5th birthday present.....

Why ask Anet to introduce it, when you can just download the hacks. Anet clearly doesn't mind. (Hint at bots)

The hacks to have it displayed do not allow other players to see it and the achievement that it would represent. ;-)

Its for Bosses, not players.

It's not a hack, you just change something on your screen and has 0 impact on the game experience for anybody else, nor does it give you a unfair advantage.

aura of your profession on GWAMM?

If people really want an aura I would much rather see A-net incorparate some type of Chaos armour.Besides I need something else to spend my ecto on.

That might very well be but it sure sounds like you're suggesting it.

It sounds like I'm making a suggestion by asking multiple questions about what people think?

I think it would be a nice addition, and should be added for either:

GWAMM
Legendary skill hunter
Legendary guardian

Perhaps it could only be attained after having completed a certain number of Boss Bounties from the Z-Bounties? This would definitely prevent people from aquiring it quickly seeing as you could only do one a day. Maybe have that in conjunction with the requirement of other titles? idunno. No matter how it is acquired, it should be quite difficult so that auras are not given out lightly.

That would be a fun title for many, maybe not all, but a lot. I think Anet should start adding a couple more titles so players have more choices to what they want to grind.
