Wired Connection Giving Local Only

Hi sorry if Im in the wrong subforum but i am having a problem with vista.(big surpise eh?) I am using a wired connection to connect my own computer to a hub computer. Moments earlier before this post my connection was fine, now it randomly turned to Local Only and I cannot do anything about it? is the something wrong with the cord itself or something to do with vista?

Did you bridge the connections? You can do this by going to your primary computer, going to "network connections", selecting both "Local Area Connection 1" and "Local Area Connection 2" with 'Ctrl' pressed down (to highlight both items), right clicking one of them and selecting "Bridge".
