I got free tournament points with my account, but my friend can't seem to get his. He hasn't already had them, but there is no option when he talks to tolkano, why is this?

Your friend has to speak with High Priest Zhang in GTOB in order to acquire the 50 TRP.

Anet gave everyone 50 points when they finally got rid of XTH. I picked my points up this morning but I never used XTH.

You have to create an account with Tolkano, then talk to High Priest Zhang to receive the Tournament Points, then redeem the points with Tolkano for Zaishen Keys.

Or redeem them for PvP armor/weapons.
