hi i only bought the first chapter, and im wondering if its a waste of time for me to try to pvp.
i usually am a healer, but i would try another class as long as there exists a skill set that can be gained only in the first chapter that i could use to compete in gvg, pvp, or capture the flag or any of those games.
also, i like to make many characters sometimes, and i heard that your skills carry on over to the new class, and that the more skills that you have, the more expensive the rest become, so i guess its really important that i choose the right skills early on, since it seems theres no going back
good pvp or gvg skillset, only bought game of the year edition

Other than Shock Axe (for Warriors), pretty much all bars get screwed over from not having the other campaigns. It's somewhat a result of power creep.

If you expect people to read what you write, it would be good if you included some grammar.
1) Regarding the bold part: Skills do not carry over as such. You can unlock skills, but this is different to knowing them. Unlocked skills are available for PvP characters ad heroes to use. PvE characters must acquire skills from quests, trainers (costs money and a skill point), or tomes. To use a tome, the skill you want must be unlocked.

2) Regarding the bit in italics: This is character specific, and only applies when you buy skills from trainers. There is a 1k (1000g) cap on skill prices.

3) Regarding the underlined bit: Not really. I bought all the skills available to me on the first few plays and didn't really have money problems. GW isn't money oriented; it's required for basic things but mostly it's used for prestige stuff.

skills in pve cap out at 1platinum cost per skill.
and i don't know how effectively you are gonna be able to pvp with only one campaign... People prolly won't want to take you. You could always play RA i suppose, but your gonna be at a disadvantage.

ok i will use that build. what about armor and weapons and stuff, can i still get the best axe etc without having the other campaigns?

you should be fine with your axe, having access to vamp, sundering, furious, fiery, etc. mods. Should also have access to 15^50 and +30hp mods. u have to unlock them 1st of course, whether it be through balth faction or id'ing weapons in pve.

PS: There is no 'best' axe. Good players have several sets and swap frequently according to the situation.
