I would use a perfect salvage kit to remove the handle and the inscription and sell those separately. 3-5kish for the handle and 5-10kish for the inscription from what I've seen.

I think an insc. gold r9 Str Gloom Shield is ~10-15k these days. Sometimes they can sell for more, but it takes a while. I think I've seen them for sale for as low as ~8k. I seriously doubt you're likely to sell the modded shield for as much as you could get selling the parts separately. With the mods on it, maybe 15-20k
