This is not a rant ... just wondering if my fellow Para players felt the same thing ...
I think it would be great if they had a wpn/shield mod that had to do with shouts/chants. I figure they have +20% for enchantments, why not vocal things to? I know they have other shouts, echos, spells etc ... that can lengthen the duration, but then it has to be on your bar (or hero's) instead of an attack or shout to use.
I'm sure I'll get knock down right away ... but I think it would be a great thing to have.

like a +20% shout duration mod? meh, would be nice, but not really needed. wouldn't put this in. There isn't a mod theat increases hex duration for example.
you have insignias for that give armor while under a shout.
although, mods like -2dmg while affected by a shout would really be understandable seeing as they have ones that are -2dmg while enchanted, hexed, and in stance.

I would like to see something like Eragon said a shield mod that has -2 dmg under a shout but lengthening shouts eh not usually needed all that much.

Enduring Harmony? Vocal was Sogolon? I'm guessing there are others somewhere..
I think the balance is there and relatively sensible, as a quite a lot of shouts end on action, or are (for the most part) maintainable with good energy management anyway (not been playing long, and only imbagon style builds so far..).
The -2 while under the effect of a shout would be nice, but I don't see that happening as NF has been out quite some time, and that would have been the time to introduce it.

The shouts and chants are already balanced around no +20% mod. I think to add them to the game would require a rebalance of the skills and we all know how well that works.

/ signed for more mods definitely, more profession specific ones would be nice (basically insignia variety but for weapons)

This has the issue that all other suggestions like this have. This will throw the current balance off. Para's aren't really useful enough to be justified most of the time, so this isn't as much of an issue*, but it would be better to fix the problem itself than just add mods that make them generally more powerful**.
*It doesn't really fix much anyway. A buff to Para's themselves could possibly just make all builds more powerful than they already are, not provide alternatives over Imbagon.

i'd say yes, they only have one insignia after all so kinda lacking in upgrades. would make paragons a lot more effective and interesting to play. for me anyway ^^
