I was wondering if there was any way to get your drop rate back for remnants if you have already placed the armors on your account. I collected a bunch of remnants and placed them on my rangers heroes so it wouldn't affect my monk. Well, lets just say 84 areas later(yes, I'm addicted) and not a remnant dropped. I used to think this armor remnant thing was a myth but I thought i'd put on Ranger to be on the safe side. Basically, my question is if I spend the gold to put new armor on my heroes, will I get my old drop rate back or have I doomed my profits in the DoA?

Ummmm, how exactly are you farming in DoA? doing full runs? doing one area? what exactly? And i've never heard of this no-drop remnants once you put armor on your heros...

Primeval Remnants are handled much like the other Nightfall armor remnants. After collecting X Remnants via cleared areas in DoA, the drop rate goes dramatically down (if not to complete 0, it's been almost a year since my Para's last Remnant). This is tracked by character, not by account.

I have been doing fullruns. Since my last remnant I have done 21 fullruns, if I count mallyx though it'll actually be 105 areas since I have last gotten a primeval armor. This could either be insanely bad luck, or it does base drop rate on account. From the replies i've gotten so far though, looks like there is no way for me to fix

yeah, if you have gone 21 full runs, doesn't look like there is anything you can do. they shouldn't be too hard to buy though, especially with all the money you should be making form armbraces ;-)
