Mini pet influx creep...

The Traveler saw some pets with his gifts, then of course there was the 5th anniversary and now there are royal gifts...In my personal opinion I honestly wish anet would STOP GIVING US DAM MINI's, especially when every tries to flog each one of these new ones off for 100k+XXe's...

Apparently they can't think of things beyond mini's and summoning stones,right. It's not a major complaint it's just their lack of creativity is annoying.

Everyone with access to EotN and Prophecies can obtain the new royal gifts easily the prices on those minis will drop like stones in a matter of weeks in my opinion.

like the prices of the nic minis???? Its been a year for those and I have still yet to have gotten one myself....think it will be sometime before these prices drop.
But yeah, something OTHER than mini pets would be nice (the weapons are a step in the right direction---)

Difference between Nick minis and these minis from royal gifts is that you aren't limited to the number of royal gifts you can get for yourself.

why the hate on minis? if you don't like them don't buy them

and at this point Anet's focus is mainly on GW2
and i don't see what else they can add besides minis and new skins

Can only really think of weapons that they'd put in asides mini's and these stones.

Requires much more work to make new skins that reproduce mini's, they don't affect you in the slightest. Like everything else in this game it's just the question of hours involved, as much as i can see your point of creativity.

I agree with the OP, I would like to see new weapons instead of new minis. (And it isn't because I can't afford the minis that are coming out.) I would just like to have something new that I can actually use.

New weapons require building new skins and textures. Not going to happen. New minis require applying the same code used on existing minis to other existing models.

And minis aren't necessary. If you want them, so be it. If you don't, so be it. If you get one, and don't want it...sell it. So be it.

Im not sure why some people are complaining about this, bottom line is if you want weapons etc, according to the dat file there will be a new influx of weapons to be had.

As for minis, as the above poster said if you dont like them sell them.

I would like to say 'that's new' but you are not the first one.

All I really want is a miniature maker that destroys dedicated ones in exchange for being able to make customized ones.
There's just not enough storage for so many.

I may have misunderstood but i think OP is asking to get something different than minis...

Well miniatures wouldn't seem likely to take much art development (I know it takes some at least for shrink-testing & icons), so personally I view adding them not as new content but instead as ways to encourage playing content we already have.

In that light, the Underworld and War in Kryta minis have been big successes - I've never played in Kryta as much as I have this weekend, and intend to over the coming weeks.

I am looking forward to the all-new content (new weapon art) too though, and yeah it would be nice if there were something else that could feasibly be introduced beyond shrinking, summoning & morphing-into monsters - but I've no idea what...

why ask for new skins when there are skins that are already made, and just need noncrappy mods?

i.e. darkwing staff and darkwing wand.

can we get those in pve and on noncrappy greens as rewards?

dont tell me they have to change the skin and textures on already made weapons. all they gotta do is take away those nonsense +60 health mod, and put something good, or just make it a gold item.

just recolor some weapons. like Firy dragon sword, icy dragon sword, vampiric dragon sword. recolor it and call it zealous dragon sword or something.

I mean. these are all better than more minipets imo, and my guess is they woudnt be any more work than minipets or stones

I do love how they made the canthan shortsword x2 into daggers.

I'm fairly sure Tolkano still has skins that don't drop in PVE...

There are WAAAYYY too many minis in game and they keep adding new ones in huge quantities. They would be fun to collect if they provided means to store them, without that they take absurridiculous amounts of storage space. I loved minipets when they got first added to the game 4 years ago but I've completely stopped caring about any new minis since they added 4th birthday collection.
WAAY too many of them... it's no longer fun to have a mini version of just about everything possible. And to have more than 1 mule character just for storing them.... and having to relog multiple times just to reach your collection...

i agree. maybe they should work on maybe getting some special armor sets for different(the fire henchwoman in the gh says hi).

idk i like minis but they are too exspensive. so id like something i could tangibley work towards that the price wont change(aka armor and maybe some cool clean new wepon skins?).
