Anyone remember the double handle bug with the Scavengers in Old Ascalon quest reward axe?

ANet just reset all copies of the weapons in player's inventories to a generic white axe, and all future rewards were fixed. As for green weapons, ANet has modified those as well, including the weapons in inventory. (See: The Rockmolder) They have already demonstrated the capability to modify items in player's inventories.
If it is a bug, they have the capability to correct it, and reset all copies in the game to fixed stats like any other green.

An official comment would be nice,moddable greens would be seriously sweet (get the name and skin). Hopefully the extra mod thing arose as a bug from the initial act of being able to mod them...

Anet knows about it and it's going to get fixed. There's also a thread on the subject in game bugs, so this doesn't really need to be open anymore.
