White Mantle Badges...

Do y'all think they'll come in handy some day, given the new Krtya content? I've been saving the emblems but not the badges.
And when are the white mantle gonna start giving out bounties for shining blade? Rebel scum...

I've got a stack of both of them....saving them for Nic---hope he wants them soon as I am starting on another stack for each of them (packrat here).

Seeing how it's already been confirmed that the players side with the Blade by default, you're very likely not going to see any Mantle-hosted bounties.

I've been saving them up as well. Call it a hunch.

Unless a Blade NPC wants to collect Badges as proof that you've killed some Mantles? Maybe not as simple as I posted but you know what I mean.

I have a same question with the Medal of Honor item. Maybe they are saving the Medal of Honor for some special quest, maybe you can some cool weapons for your Hall of Monument, or maybe they are introducing a Shining Blade armor you can literally wear instead of the costume. Or maybe it is relating to some quest.

But not all trophy items have collectors. Take a look at the trophy items dropped in the UW and FoW. So far, there isn't a permanent trophy collector for those across from Nicholas the Traveler.

I think you're misunderstanding me. It's not likely for the players to have access to White Mantle bounties for hunting Shining Blade characters because the players are confirmed to side with the Shining Blade by default.

I'm confused... I said maybe Blade members want Badges to shown you've killed White Mantle.

Im not holding onto them.. precious inventory slot wasted. If they're ever needed for Nick, im sure i can just buy them for 200g each

same here. i seem to net a lot of them on courier runs.

Sitting here thinking about all the past resources Nick wanted these aren't what I would call "organic" like the others. I might have missed one though that wasn't organic or some body part of a monster/npc? I don't think badges or emblems would be something he would want or need an abundance of for anything.

I can think of at least one that wasnt organic, Nick wanted the rotted Orr emblems once already

Nick has been known to ask for trophies, salvage items (e.g.: charr hides, pillaged goods), rare crafting materials (e.g.: linen, jade, amber), quest items (e.g.: juni berries), and consumables (e.g.: skalefin soup, mandragor root cake).

I thought it was worth storing the Badges and Emblems when I noticed all the new White Mantle dropped them. It could easily be something like the Super Charr Carvings for some kind of cool weapons or head gear. Two inventory slots for a couple of months isn't a lot to ask.

I'm staying on the cautious side until the WiK updates are complete.
