Banned,don't bot?

I only boted with a SS/LB bot and a Stygian (DoA) bot for less than 5 minutes alltogether,so obviously I did not gain 1 gold or 1 tittle point. It was on an alt account,and both my main and alt got banned.

Other 3rd party programs I have used are GW multilaunch and textmod (less than 3hrs all together of those) and those have nothing to do with botting.

I'm not saying I got banned by accident,or that Anet is wrong and are fags,I'm asking you guys if you think the ban should be removed,since I never got ANYTHING other than KNOWLAGE from the bots.

I sent Anet an email...il see what happens then.

And I forgot to mention,I did use 2 bots once each on my other account (ss/lb bot and a stygian trapper one)

But only ONCE and my OTHER account,it was to see the behaviour and if I saw anyone with the same steps report them (which I never did for some reason)

So,I kinda understand if the other account was banned,but why the main?when I never used a bot in it? IP BAN? A bit unfair then.

How come an account that botted twice,gets the same punishment as one that has used bots 24/7.

If I don't get atleast 1 account back,I doubt I will get Guildwars2

And I didn't do anything...maaan...no idea what was A-net's criteria of judging whether or not you've botted but for sure it wasn't correct because I GOT BANNED >.< ... You answered your own question. You botted, so you got your account banned. Others take heed, because 99% of the time when someone says "I got banned but didn't do anything," they did. It doesn't matter if you used it twice or for years. You did.

They banned both accounts to send a clear message that your botting would not be tolerated and prevent you from doing it in the future. If you buy a new account and play again, ask yourself if it was worth it and if you'll do it again. Anet's strong actions would lead me to think your response would be "no."

Maybe there was a really bad error or something? If im banned too I'll be kinda mad.

The thing is,I just did this to tell others the actions. It was only in 1 account,and atleast I don't lie and admit it. I think Anet should take this into consideration...out of 4 years of playing,1 day I used 2 bots once each (and not even full runs either,hell not even 1/100000000000 of runs) and I get the same punishment as a person who botted all 4 years.

But it was less than 5 minutes on 1 account,why get banned on the other? Why even get banned in the account that botted less than 5 minutes? No loot at all,no loot intended,just did it to see how it worked,and to report people I saw using it. Also to not join SS/LB groups with botters.

PS: Stop the flaming,just accept that I accept I "boted",but take my word it was less than 5 minutes and it was for the benefit of the people i knew and myself (in terms of not getting banned). Please don't add this thread to the "closed" of all my discussion threads...

Botting, text modding, G11 keyboards...idc what it is. If you are using something to gain an ingame advantage you need a ban.

Buy guild wars...install guild wars...play guild wars as it was intended and designed..is this too hard to do?

You BOTTED once, it was a bot, a BOT, you used a BOT on your account and you got banned. Arenanet can't look through each person's computer and say "oh hai this guys just testing to see what it does", so sir you got banned and rightfully so. You knew the risks and you still "tried" a bot to see what they do.

Let me rephrase,I was typing out of stress and being mad. The ban (in part) was rightfull and I don't blame Arenanet.

Because I just did it,as I said like 100 times already, to NOT get banned and NOT get grouped with actual botters. I KNOW Anet could not have known this,but I'm just asking,I just sent an email explaining, if you think I deserve my account(s) back? The point to boting is making loot and maxing titles,which I never did not even 1 point or 1 gold.

Scary stuff, being banned for no reason. Have you asked for/had a reply for ban reason?
