It needs to be celebrated all over Tyria, Pre included.

were it me, I would introduce a new green weapon, called the BanHammer - Make it fall as often as other festival drops, like party favors, just as a happy reminder. (Every baby raptor should drop one.) Confetti should come out of it every time you hit a foe with one. It should also appear as available PvP equipment.

lol, it would be cool if dhuum just kinda wandered around town for a bit so everyone could see him ;-) but having a celebration of banned people seems kinda meh

always good to see people being cheerful over this, when there are innocent people like me who got banned [no, I didn't use any kind of bot ever; I also got a few friends who were "clean" and got banned too], while some botters are still there enjoying.

Well, to be honest, HellScreamS, I personally just plain don't believe you. BUT I'm not going to rule out the possiblity that I'm wrong either - I aint QUITE perfect. But if they say they only banned accounts they were certain of, I believe them, over claims of "I didnt do it". I'm sure you understand.

If what you say is true, that would make me feel things like empathy and sorrow for your highly unlikely situation.

But until something makes me believe that you were so wrongfully banned, I don't feel those things. Instead I feel, well, happy. And celebratory. And while I'm typing this, I'm also doing a happy-ass chair dance, as I have been since I heard the news of all the BotScum being banned. I don't plan to stop soon. I may also sing stuff, right out loud. and I'm at WORK right now.

BUT if I were to see something that made me believe you, I would apologize for feeling this way, and tell you how sympathetic I am for you, and stuff.

i am not here to whine upon shit. I personally know what I did and what i didn't do. And I am not here to care about your attitude or impress and attract sympathy. And the attitude which I can see here just makes me wanna quit GW even more, even if I get my account back.

Unfortunately Hells isn't the only one here.. I have the exact same problem, i didn't do anything, and banning people PERMA for nothing is just redicolous. Anet has failed at a lot of things, but this is a winner for sure

+ if you put it this way, until I'm presented solid proof that I botted, Anet can blow me. I can hardly call autoclicking a bot, I used autoclicker for approx 700-800 minutes, to finish drunkard, that's all. The unfortunate problem is, even tho I admitted I did, they can't prove that, cause autoclicker is a thing that has nothing to do with guildwars, it scripts the whole system, so it actually does nothing illegal to guild wars

You just gave us the reason why you were banned and you think that you were banned in the wrong for an autoclicker :S its a macro/script thats automating a click of the mouse that is worthy of a ban im afraid since its doing work for you while your away from your keyboard sorry to say. What makes it worse was you done it for your last 700min of the title pity.

Celebrate something negative in the game? The bans were not negative, but the reason for them was (botting). Congrats on putting a senseless +1 topic in this forum.

umad bro, last time I checked autoclicking wasn't illegal, plus i'm pretty sure that's not the reason I got banned, cause they cannot detect autoclicker a lot, it has nothing to do with guild wars, it modifies nothing in its script.

Its called drunkbotting and it was included, and rightfully so. It's nothing like the LEGAL timer that beeps each minute so you know to click your own alcohol, non-bot style.

(and I'm sure your bot was undetectable, they can't prove it, and they just randomly picked you out of the crowd. riiiiiight.)
