There is a post on this forum about Zaishen FFF but I have discovered a bit of a different way to do it. I took the build that oHcHeese originally posted and tweaked a bit to my liking. I must say it's faster with more damage output and less thought process because honestly the more you can zone out while farming the better eh?



Left to Right:
Trappers Speed
Barbed Trap
Flame Trap
Piercing Trap
Dust Trap
Spike Trap (Elite)
Energizing Wind
Optional

The Run

It takes me about 3 minutes to do one run, not even that.

1. Select the IWAY Warriors on Heroes Crypt.
2. Go to the right side next to the door about two feet your right there is a little corner place where you can. The wall blocks LoS forcing them to come to you.
3. The skills you should spam in order.

4. Re-use the traps as they become available.



With this amount of damage, it should take no time at all for them to die and you have your balthazar faction.

Yes it is limited to 6k a day.

Strife: I have checked various different forums and PvX and I have not found this specific build. If you can find it somewhere else I will give them credit.

And to that I say... Meh. The 330 rit is still more fun than trapping in my opinion. Plus a team with henchies can pretty easily destroy the mesmer team in a little over a minute, for the same amount of faction. Just take frozen soil to speed things up.

Well the zaishen challenge made it easy, just grab the IWAY warriors, there's really no need for frozen soil, they hit you twice then they drop like rocks.

True, but the point is that zaishen challenge maxes out at 2k faction per day, and in zaishen elite you can't choose your opponents. Farming Zaishen challenge is easy, and can be done much faster than the above trapping build does it.

zaishen challenge trapping = useless.... 2k/day = 3days for 1 zaishen key *cough*
if you want balth's... go do some RA. way faster, way more fun, way more zkeys if you do it right.

and yes... you can find that build EVERYWHERE. if its not on pvx wiki... they maybe deleted it because its too old and everybody knows it =)

eh more traps=better so id give your build a 2.5/5. also everyone preety much knows how to farm ZE so farming ZC is kinda pointless.

Note that Energizing Wind is also in the build, but it is recommended after all the traps are used. I'm confused, too. Who still uses EW?

edit: I prefer a different trapping order as well. May I suggest activating the skills in this order:
Trapper's Speed Dust Trap Spike Trap Flame Trap Barbed Trap Piercing Trap
I'm not sure what you're using Energizing Wind for, or it's duration since you have not listed attributes.

. Even synced RA is much slower per time spent, what with a max of 4 opponents and your average team taking a little more effort than running into a pile of traps. The only upside is you can keep at it for longer than 20 min/day.

The one exception being zquest day. Farming the hell out of that is by far the best source of zkeys. More if you can handle other quests like codex, gvg, HA.

Agree though that really you should be figuring out how to do zaishen elite. Used to be absurdly easy with heroes.
