idea for gw2, mini of your own character

What would really be nice for GW 2 is if you could make a mini of your character and take it to GW2 as a memento. I would love a mini version of my ele following me around. I'd pay for that ^^

Let me get this straight... so GW2 is an entirely new game with up rezzed textures, completely redone models, and almost none of the old art assets reused...

Now, you're proposing that we take EVERY SINGLE class/armor combination from GW1, and have them waste valuable graphic/hard drive space in GW2, just so players can run around with their GW1 chars...

I don't think it would take up all that much space in the .dat.

Faces don't have to be perfect because they are mini and you cant tell which eyes are which.

So basically its just hair and armor. Both those models can be compressed down and most the details can be taken out.

But on the issue of actually having it in GW2, I don't really care.

Pretty much this. Unless you can bear to have your old char look like a new guy...nah this won't work, they'd need to port the old graphics over.

And too... lets not junk up the sequel with silly looking minis. I want the chaos gloves and blindfolds to END when I move to GW2, I literally barf inside my own mouth when I see SO MANY blindfolded people with god hands walking around. So old.

Try looking. Right underneath Riverside, just above Sardelac is a line that saya "Guild Wars 2". Perhaps an entire forum with that name would give you an indication. And when you click on that forum, it opens up a new Guru, not an actual forum.
