How should I get obsidian armor?

So I used to have ways to farm, that was being a famine for 600/smite, and occasionaly doing the perma thing (i've deleted my perma) but I'm a war as my main charecter and I can't get a group for any of the elite areas except FoWSC due to the DWG thing.

Any builds/teqniues appreciated..
