War in Kryta?

Hey guys-

I've been following the text for the War in Kryta baloney, but was wondering if there's actually any difference to the game yet? Like are there quests or new weapons/armor or what? Cuz otherwise, this text stuff is just dumb.

Haven't logged on in a very long while so tad clueless I'm afraid. Thanks for the help!

Yes there are new quests/weapons/minis, if you look around riverside a bit there are several threads talking about all of it.

Or, perhaps a short summation:
-You get many storyline revealing dialogue sequences all over the place, especially in the shining blade hidden camp
-After you watch certain dialogues and complete Lt. Thackeray's scavenger hunt, you'll be able to enter the royal keep in Lion's Arch
-In the keep, you can get daily bounties for certain White mantle and Peacekeeper bosses, for which you get various rewards.
