What is the difference? or how long can I play for? I can't find any info on their website, it just says try it for free but doesn't mention how long or what the limitations of the trial version are.

Afaik, it allows you to play for 10 hours or 14 days, whichever comes first. Also, you won't be able to use any form of the chat feature in the trial version. This is to stop bots from spamming x product. If/When you get the full game you'll be able to use the chat feature.

You won't be able to trade with people either. You are just isolated in the game lol.
But I believe its 10 hours/ 14 days aswell, at least that is what the Buddykey and such include, think this is quite the same.

10 hours or 14 days whichever comes first but your experience will be extremely limited.

The trial account experience is not "extremely limited", since it really only has to do with the above mentioned player interaction (chat & trade). In every other respect, it behaves exactly like a retail account. You experience the exact same game content (first steps into character development and playing of missions and quests) as a retail account. If you upgrade the trial account with a retail key, you are able to continue playing with your trial characters.

After just going through the trial account I have to disagree with Silmar Alech. The trial is an EXTREMELY LIMITED experience. Yes the content such as missions quests story line are all there, but If you cant communicate with others how are you suppose to group let alone find out how things work. You don't get a manual with the trial hell the one you get with the game isn't complete.

I played 2 hours of my 10 hours and researched the other 8 looking for answers on how to do things just to play. I had to create a second free account to really play. So my advice is if you do a free account log off the game and close it while you are researching on how to play.

You need to enter your character name in the name field.

You don't have one the first time you play, but the second time you log in, you now have a character.

Error 227 is the error that you have not entered your account info correctly:
Quote:
Make sure you entered your account information correctly. Check to make sure you registered an account with that name/address, and that you have properly spelled a valid character name.
Type in all three fields:
- Account Name: e-mail address with which you registered the account.
- Password: associated password.
- Security Question (Character Name): enter the name of one of the character on that account.

When you create your account, you only need the account name and password.

However, after you create a character you will need to input the character name in the security question field on the login screen.

In that case, my character name must be the problem.
How can I find out what the right name of my character is?

You have to remember it, there is no other way to find out. If you don't use a name that is familiar to you, you could write it down. You could also make a character name with some significance to you so you remember it better (you could use a character named Rock De Rakker for instance ).
